CATFISH - The Movie

I was going to do a post about this last week... And since I am still OBSESSED with it THIS week, I am doing one today. It is about the documentary that is out now: CATFISH. Did anyone hear about this movie? Since I heard of it, I have been excessively preoccupied with this film. And because it is a small documentary, it is now only in select theatres. And due to the fact that I live in the country now, who knows when/if it will ever get here. I will probably wind up having to get it from Netflix, when it is eventually offered there in the months to come!

It is a story about Nev (and his brother and their friend), and a girl, Megan (and her family), that Nev meets on Facebook. He falls for her, but I won't even go into what it's about. It is SO involved, it is hard to explain! If you are interested, you can watch the trailer HERE.

Please note: The trailer says this is "not based on a true story" and "not inspired by true events - IT IS TRUE." Many people/film reviewers on the internet have been questioning if it IS true, but the story still fascinates me.

I tried to upload the trailer here on the post, but it was taking a year and a day and I was getting impatient!

I have been so distracted with this movie, that I searched the internet and found all of the "spoilers" on it, so I already know the whole story and the ending. However, that does not make me any less obsessed with this film!
