Oh, I cannot tell you how THRILLED and RELIEVED I am that my blog is OK again! To make a long story short, I had to find out what was in my blog that was causing a problem and, by trial and error, and deleting different things, I found out it was the calendar on my blog. It had been there for months but, obviously due to some malfunctioning encryptioning (!!), when I deleted the calendar, then my problem with the virus alert disappeared. A funny thing though: not everyone who visited my blog got the virus message! (And one person even got a message/redirection to another website or some such thing!)
I MUST greatly thank Willow of My Irish Cottage Home for sticking with me last night and this morning. She was right there, checking my blog when I'd delete something to see if she could get on my blog, or would get the virus message. She's my hero! Others who stuck with me are my dear friends, Mrs. Magpie/Sheila and Christine and Candice, who were just as worried as I was with this problem!
Thank you all and thank God!! :)
And please visit tomorrow (Friday) for my CSN Review and CSN Give-away!!

Wow, that's awful stuff! My computer had a virus a couple months ago and I thought I was going to DIE for the 30 hours or so that I thought my computer was dead. Glad that it all got fixed!!
ReplyDeleteThat's awful, Gloria! So glad you're back up and running and virus free!!
ReplyDeleteHi Gloria,
ReplyDeleteI'm really happy you were able to solve this crazy problem. We have to be careful with items we download and place on our blogs. I had issues that were similar with a downloaded gadget from Neoworx. Once I removed it the problem was solved. I hope my blog is OK. I've had a low turnout of comments these past 4 days and now you told me that Sheila is having difficulty accessing my blog. Oh Dear! Well here is my e-mail: annemarie_zinc@hotmail.com
Blogs can be a handful and are a full-time job especially when technical problems arise. Thanks for writing to me. Did you have a problem posting on my blog?
Anne-Marie
Hi Gloria,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you got it figured out. That must have been very scary.
Thank you very much for stopping by and visiting my site. I look forward to exploring yours. I love your photos.
Have a great weekend,
Kathy
I am sooooooo glad you got your blog fixed! One time I lost my blog and I was so sad. Now I always back-up my blog by exporting it onto my desk top regularly. Anyway, I'm glad yours is up again!

Glad you got that fixed. I never got a virus notice. So now I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my AVG.
