Greetings! I am finally here to give a review of the CATFISH documentary. Well, as I told a friend, if I hadn't known anything about it, I would have loved it. It is a fascinating story. But, because of all the stories and 'spoilers' I read on the internet, plus ABC's 20/20 show that I saw on this, I knew everything, so I was a little disappointed. But, please! If you have not heard anything about this documentary, and you are the least bit curious, DO rent it and watch it. It is quite a story. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. I am going to rent the whole DVD from Netflix... I think that gives a few interviews with the film-makers, that I did not get with renting it from Amazon, so I will enjoy that.
Well, if anyone sees CATFISH, please email me or leave me a comment and let me know what you thought!
Best,
Gloria
Hi Gloria ~ I'm always interested in a good documentary and have NEVER heard of Catfish. I don't even have a clue what it is about so I'll add it to my list of "Must-Sees" and let you know what I think!
ReplyDeleteHaven't seen it, but I read your synopsis of it. Sounds interesting, but I'm scared about the ending. Didn't watch the 20/20 thing either in case it showed too much. I'll see if they are going to have it at Redbox (I'm cheap like that).
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry you were disappointed, Gloria. I think the only one I want to see right now is the one with Collin Firth about King George and his speech lessons during WWII. I adore Collin Firth and could watch him read the phone book.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
I haven't heard anything about Catfish. I'll try to keep it in mind.
ReplyDeleteHi Gloria,
ReplyDeleteI haven't even heard of it, except for your blog. I'll keep my eyes open for it though. Thanks for the recommendation!
:>) Have a wonderful week.
Kathy
Nice to meet you Gloria and your blog!
ReplyDeleteCatfish...I'll have to look for it.

Gloria, I've never heard of the Catfish documentary? You know the old saying, "curiosity killed the cat". You've raised my curiosity about "Catfish" and I'll have to take a look at it now :-)
ReplyDeleteGod bless you and have a great week

I'm like you, have been highly educated by Miss G, so I know the rest of the story. Glad you finally got the chance to see the DVD version.
ReplyDeleteStill with the Catfish! You must be a fangirl! Love to see your enthusiasm. Maybe you can post a tell all spoiler for those of us who are all 'Cliff Note' types!
ReplyDeleteI'll keep this one in mind...sounds intriguing!
