Greetings! I got my Valspar Paint Sample! Isn't it fun to have something arrive in the mail? Thank you to Valspar Paint! The color I chose is EB 16-3, Watermelon Slice. The little sample package is great. You will see all the photos below. They even give the little mini tray and the mini paint roller. So cute. Plus a $5 coupon toward a gallon and a complementary color palette.Unfortunately, Valspar is finished with giving out the free samples -- BUT, I checked and you can get this little sample kit for only $5.95 in the color of your choice (plus shipping). And they say if you buy THREE or more sample kits, the shipping is free. Pretty good deal. So if you'd like a sample kit, click HERE and it will bring you to their website to see the description and how to order.
So now here's the sample box below. I am still thinking about painting a big basket I have to hold magazines, but since the weather here in the Northeast is still damp and windy every other day, I will hold off on painting anything outside until it gets nicer out! I will definitely post whatever I decide to paint Watermelon Slice! Here's the photos:
Pretty colors, Gloria!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have gotten a free one, but glad you did! :-)
XO,
Sheila
I'll be looking forward to seeing your painted basket and finding out if you really like the way the paint looks when it's finished. How great to get that complete sample for free!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty color. Almost like your blog background. Have fun with it.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to paint a basket? I hope it's not one of those with zillions of nooks and crannys. I tried that once and had to give up. Maybe you'll have more patience than I did. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat kit is cute. Have fun with that gorgeous color.
hugs,
Caroline
I managed to get 3 of those sample packages...and let me tell you, one of those paint jars goes a loooong way! I really do love Valspar, and even more so since they did this very nice giveaway!!! Can't wait to see how your basket turns out!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your project!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your visit and for your kindness for following, I just followed back! My thanks also for the sweet and lovely comments. Yes, it must be so sad that you lost your mom 5 days ago, I'm sure you miss her still. My mom and I are only girls, so, maybe that's why we're close, we just have each other. I designed around 14-15 patterns for our china, in some back posts I've shown a couple more and my daughter Alexabdra's own pattern. We must continue our visits now that we're followers and friends. Now, I'm going to browse your blog!
