Something new! OpenSky


I was sent an invitation, via Good Housekeeping, to join OpenSky. This is how they got me: "Good Housekeeping Exclusive: OpenSky presents Christian Louboutin Giveaway."

Pretty good "hook" -- no? So, of course, I joined. Hey, somebody's got to be the winner! :)
Although I am still figuring out who to "follow" on this site (I'll explain below), I was happy to see a lot of celebs that I do know and like, from Bobby Flay to Bradley Bayou. I also liked the fact that they say that our happiness is guaranteed. Our purchase is backed by their 90-day guarantee.

I like the fact that celebrities/well-known people are involved as curators, with discounts on their products! Here's a bit more of an explanation from the OpenSky website:

    Hi Gloria, this is a wonderful site, I haven't purchased anything, it's always but to look. lol. I'm glad you like my Murphy dog, he was a stray that turned up about 4 years ago now, he is my bud.. constant companion. I'm pretty fortunate his only bad habit, he barks a lot at times. lol If only I could break him of that.. hope you're having a super w/k. hugs ~lynne~

    Another cool website! I'll have to go see that as soon as I catch up with everything .
    The Ritz was fun. I had never stayed at the Ritz before. All this traveling and no Ritz. It was time to change that. They are very attentive and courteous. It's amazing to be treated with so much respect by 100% of the people working there. You'll have to try it someday. Lizzie was sooooo good. Not a peep from her at the hotel, in the car. She went everywhere even on Bourbon st. at night to stare at the drunks.

    I'm baaaaaack. Why didn't I post that other sooner? The minute I posted it, the next morning dawned with blue skies and Chamber of Commerce weather. LOL!

    Thanks for the moral support. My nerves were frayed, but I FINALLY got some sleep last night. Four days of those types of wind without a break was like Chinese Water Torture! A fellow blogger/friend from Kansas told me that I would never be able to live there because this type of thing happens a lot. YIKES! Those folks must have nerves of steel! I wonder about Oklahoma where "the wind comes sweeping down the plain"??? I'll never sing that song again with the same gusto I used to use in the shower!

    It's bad enough that I'm hooked on Pinterest. This sounds great for shopaholics. As for me, I'm in recovery and stay far and away from places like this! eBay still gets their hooks in me once in a while! Happy Shopping!
